Whoa, don't die of shock, I'm actually posting something 0.o
Not quite sure what category to put it in.... I was trying to be as precise and exact as possible with a fairly complex subject that I'd instinctively try to just generalize and mush through. The larger flower seen from the side came out okay I think, but I ended up fudging with the smaller, more frontal view. The lower little... um, fringey things at the base of the flowers don't look crumpled enough either. Alas.
Acrylics on masonite board, with a little black prismacolor pencil to sharpen the edges, because my smallest paint brush is not remotely small enough.
